Coaching Clinics Updated 08/22/10--Please be aware that when you register for a coaching class you are essentially creating a Got Soccer profile. You will receive prompts to do a background check because of this. Unfortunately this is something that we can not turn off for the Coaching courses. If you are not coaching within the MYSA organization, and just getting your license through us, i.e. you coach for CYC or the Y or something other than a MYSA affliate you are not required to do the background check when prompted. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATLEY MYSA IS PROCESSING ALL COACHING LICENSES THROUGH THE GOT SOCCER SYSTEM. PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW COACHING PROFILE TO SIGN UP FOR A CLASS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN EXISTING PROFILE, ONLY CREATE A NEW PROFILE IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN IN THE GOT SOCCER SYSTEM AS A COACH OR MANAGER. IF YOU DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A CLASS AHEAD OF TIME ELECTRONICALLY YOUR LICENSE WILL HAVE TO BE PROCESSED MANUALLY AND THIS WILL TAKE LONGER THAN THOSE THAT ARE PROCESSED ELECTRONICALLY. IN THE PAST YOUR LICENSE WOULD BE EMAILED TO YOU IN A PDF, WITH THIS NEW PROCESS YOU WILL NOW FIND THE PDF IN YOUR COACHING PROFILE AS SOON AS WE PROCESS THE LICENSE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PRINT THIS OUT AND IT WILL ALWAYS BE IN YOUR FILE IN THE FUTURE IF YOU NEED IT. IF YOU DO NOT SIGN UP AHEAD OF TIME ELECTRONICALLY FOR A CLASS AND YOU JUST SHOW UP FOR THE CLASS YOUR LICENSE WILL TAKE UPWARDS OF A WEEK TO PROCESS MANUALLY, PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE FOR YOUR LICENSE BEFORE A WEEK HAS PASSED SINCE TAKING THE CLASS, WE ARE PROCESSING THEM AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR LICENSE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF ATTENDING THE CLASS PLEASE LET US KNOW.
